      I contacted housing disrepair helpline because my housing association did not provided me with an specific day for my leak repair so I though I will need … More some help to get my leak sorted because I did report it 6 months ago. Liam at housing disrepair helpline was very helpful and explained to me the process I needed to follow in order to get my leak fixed. I signed the contract, got contacted by Harpreet who works in the lawyer firm who I sent my lease contract and also explained me how the process will start. After 10 days I signed the contract I did receive a visit from a surveyer and the building managed of my housing association who decided to come to inspect my leak for the firts time after 6 months I reported the leak so they had assured me that works will start the following week so unfortunately I had to cancel the contract with housing disrepair helpline, Liam and Harpreet were both very nice and helpful so I will keep in touch with housing disrepair helpline just in case my housing association doesn't start the works they have promised me.

      Within one week they had sent a chartered surveyor to my property to gather evidence on damage to my property. Liam then walked me through all of the legal documents for the law firm they were putting me in touch with to represent me. All I really had to do was show someone around and sign a few pieces of paper. Had a great experience with all staff who were so helpful and understanding. Barnes solicitors is also an excellent company whom deal with the legal side of things and really played hardball with the council for me and my family.
      If you have damage to your property and are unsure who to go with, or even unsure of what to do in the first place, take it from me these are the guys you want.
      Every other company is an imitation, trying to get close to the high standards and level of service offered at the Housing Disrepair Helpline.
      Thank you to everyone on your team, my property is being fixed as I write this.
